I am Richard Santoro a business professional and entrepreneur who has in the past setup my own businesses, and had extensive experience working in successful organisations like Microsoft, McCann Erickson and Haymarket Media Group.
I have used my 20+ years of experience learned a culmination of resources, books, and my own work experiences - to share my own process for launching a successful startup.
Your Instructor
Richard has over 20 years of commercial and financial media experience that spans, sales, marketing, publishing, operations, tech services, web design, development and gaming. As a young entrepreneur he started his first business straight our of university developing games for the sony playstation.
At the age of 24, he then went on to found his first startup company, a web and print media design business based in London back in the year 2000, which he ran successfully for 5 years before selling privately to an international media agency. Richard has operated in his native city of London and has had extensive Asia and China market experience working in Shanghai from 2005 and then based in Hong Kong since 2008.
Richard is also an entrepreneur and been involved with several startups and web-based platforms. As an investor Richard has put money into a number of diverse business projects including a lingerie and apparel eCommerce store, market research distribution and most recently mobile gaming apps. He was also a cofounder and helped startup Asia First Financial Intelligence.
Asia First is a B2B enterprise management business, that provides web-based tools and a Sass platform aimed at subscriptions and licence records management. In previous roles he has worked at Microsoft, MccAnn Erickson and Haymarket Publishing Group
